Sharing Perspectives on Appendicitis Scores and Management in WA

Researchers invite parents or carers of children who were investigated for or diagnosed with appendicitis to help improve how doctors diagnose and manage this condition in WA hospitals. This project will explore the best performing Clinical Prediction Scores (CPSs) to see whether these tools can help doctors make faster, safer decisions for kids. We are looking for Research Buddies to work alongside the team to ensure it is informed and guided by lived experience across all stages.

Accessing exercise support during cancer treatment: Share your story through Photovoice (Perth)

Have you received cancer treatment in Perth? We’re inviting consumers to express interest in taking part in a research project using Photovoice — a creative method that uses photography and storytelling — to explore how people access (or struggle to access) exercise support during cancer care. Your insights will help shape better services for others. This project is part of an approved research study conducted through Edith Cowan University (2025-06525-KENNEDY).
