Shaping the Future of mRNA Cancer Treatments – Community Conversation
During a previous Community Conversation, people affected by cancer shared their concerns about accessibility of information about mRNA therapies, including their mechanism of action, modes of delivery, and possible side effects.
This next conversation will build on that feedback and explore two important questions:
- How much information about the science behind mRNA therapies do people want, and when is the best time to provide it?
- What outcomes should researchers prioritise when developing mRNA therapies, such as improving survival, enhancing quality of life, reducing side effects, targeting rare cancers, or helping the greatest number of people?
Who can attend?
We are seeking people who:
- Have current or past lived experience of cancer or care for someone who has
- Are comfortable contributing to an open group discussion and sharing their perspectives with researchers and other community members

An $80 honorarium (gift card) is offered to attendees and light refreshments will be provided.
