Mental Health: Joondalup Health Campus Research – Priority Setting Workshop
We are inviting people with lived experience of mental health, along with carers and community members, to help shape the future of mental health research at Joondalup Health Campus.
You can get involved by completing a short survey (less than five minutes), which asks one simple question:
What do you think should be the top priority for mental health research to improve care in Perth’s northern suburbs?
You can complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/H57TN9V
Your feedback will be reviewed and used to identify key themes. These themes will then be explored in a community workshop, where attendees will work together to agree on the most important priorities for future research.
At the workshop, you will:
- explore and discuss key themes identified from the survey
- share your perspectives and experiences
- help decide the most important priorities for future research
By the end of the workshop, the group will identify a set of top research priorities that reflect what matters most to people in Perth’s northern suburbs.
These priorities will guide future research at Joondalup Health Campus, helping to ensure it focuses on areas that are meaningful, relevant, and likely to improve care.
We are seeking insights from people who:
- Have lived experience of mental health challenges or mental health care, or
- Support, or have supported, a family member or friend with their mental health, or
- Have an interest in improving mental health care in the community
- You may live in the northern suburbs of Perth or have a connection to Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) or mental health services in the northern suburbs of Perth.
A $150 honorarium is offered to attendees and refreshments will be provided.
