This training was developed in partnership to help Aboriginal and non Aboriginal community membersand workers to be able to support Aboriginal people to get access better, fairer and more equitablehealth care. You will be supported to develop your skills and knowledge in the areas of health rights andadvocacy with a focus on how the system impacts Aboriginal people.
The workshop includes topics such as:
- What is culturally safe care
- Health rights
- Advocacy skills
- Conflict of interest
- Vicarious trauma
- How, when and to who to refer
