Survey call: Missing out on mental health care

Lived Experience Australia is calling for survey participants to help them identify why some people miss out on mental health care.

The Productivity Commission and others have adopted the term, the ‘missing middle’.  Lived Experience Australia wants to understand the reasons why people slip through the net or don’t get the care they need, and to have the first robust data from a lived experience perspective.

They are seeking survey participants in order to understand why some consumers continue receiving support from a health professional or service to improve their mental health (engage) while others choose to stop their involvement with services (disengage).
