STOPstroke Steering Group

The National STOPstroke grant team is currently looking for a community representative from Western Australia with an overall interest in promoting healthy lifestyle and disease prevention to be part of its Steering Group for an upcoming project.

The Steering Group will provide advice and oversight into a priority-setting exercise held over the next 12 months. This exercise will involve consultation widely with the community, the stroke community, and healthcare professionals to understand what questions they have about preventing stroke.

The time commitment for Steering Group members is expected to be around 12-15 hours over the next 12 months. Steering Group members will be asked to respond to a monthly email update on progress of the priority setting project and attend 4 x 1 hour videoconferences, with the first videoconference planned for Tuesday 29th June at 4pm AEST.
