The Anaesthesia and Pain Management Research Team from the Child and Adolescent Health Service are working with consumers to generate a list of the top 10 research priorities for paediatric anaesthesia and perioperative medicine. Perioperative medicine includes all stages of the hospital journey – from the home environment before surgery, through to the hospital stay and after discharge.
The research team want to hear from you to help shape the future of their research. Your help can ensure the research projects directly reflect areas which are the most important to patients and their family members.
The study involved a short survey which will ask you to list your top 3 research priorities. The survey is open to any individual who has had experience with their child or family members undergoing surgery.
