Joondalup Health Campus is working with the community to shape the future of mental health research in Perth’s northern suburbs. This project aims to ensure research focuses on what matters most to people with lived experience, as well as their families, carers, and the wider community. As part of this work, a Research Priority Setting Workshop will bring people together to identify and agree on the most important areas for future mental health research. Community input gathered through a short survey will help shape the discussion, ensuring the workshop reflects real experiences and needs.
We are seeking insights from people who:
- Have lived experience of mental health challenges or mental health care, or
- Support, or have supported, a family member or friend with their mental health, or
- Have an interest in improving mental health care in the community
- You may live in the northern suburbs of Perth or have a connection to Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) or mental health services in the northern suburbs of Perth.

LOCATION: Chichester Park Sporting Facility, Woodvale
(A $150 honorarium will be offered to attendees of the Research Priority Mapping Workshop only – and refreshments will be provided on the day).
