About the project/involvement opportunity
Individuals with a lived experience of major surgery, as a patient or a carer, are invited to join the HYPE Pilot Study Reference Group.
The HYPE Pilot Study is a clinical trial of the medication Roxadustat tablets and it’s use for surgery. The results will show whether Roxadustat is safe and effective, and whether a large international trial is feasible.
Consumer involvement is sought to improve patient documentation, participation rates, the study design and effective communication of results to the wider community.
