Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital are working to strengthen how patients, carers and the community are involved in medical research and clinical trials.
We are inviting people who have received care at either hospital to share their ideas through a short survey. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and asks two simple questions about how people would like to be involved in research and what would make involvement easier or harder. Complete the survey here – The survey closes on 29 May 2026.
The feedback collected will help guide how consumer and community involvement is developed across research and clinical trials within the organisation.
People completing the survey can also register their interest in attending a workshop in June 2026, where patients, carers and researchers will work together to identify key priorities for improving consumer and community involvement in research.
You can contribute if you:
- Have received care at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital or Osborne Park Hospital
- Are a patient, carer or family member of someone who has received care at these hospitals
No prior experience with research or clinical trials is required. We welcome all perspectives and experiences.
Selected workshop attendees will receive a $150 honorarium in recognition of their time and contribution.
