After the ED: Low Back Pain Following Emergency Department Discharge – Community Conversation
We are inviting people with lived experience of low back pain following an Emergency Department visit, along with carers and supporters, to take part in this online Community Conversation. The session will explore what happens after leaving the Emergency Department, including experiences of recovery, follow-up care, and any challenges or gaps in support.
During the session, attendees will:
- share their experiences and perspectives
- discuss what helped or didn’t help their recovery
- identify opportunities to improve care after discharge
This is a facilitated discussion in a small group setting. Your insights will help inform future research and contribute to improving care for people experiencing low back pain after an Emergency Department visit.
We are seeking insights from people who:
- Have attended an Emergency Department for low back pain
This Community Conversation is specifically for people who have attended an Emergency Department for back pain (or carers of someone who has)
An $80 honorarium (gift card for use in Australia) is offered to attendees.
Registrations are essential. To register your interest, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Because we aim to include a range of perspectives, places are limited and expressions of interest will be reviewed to support a balanced mix of attendees.
