About the project and the involvement opportunity
There are calls for community pharmacists to provide additional clinical professional services to support increasing demands from people seeking healthcare and to possibly reduce the burden on other health providers. Little is known about what consumers’ value in these services. Researchers at Curtin University are looking to understand what consumers look for in a pharmacist-led health service, how they decide on whether to take up the service, and what factors are important when choosing between a pharmacist service and a similar one provided by GPs.
The information you provide will help develop a discrete choice experiment survey for a larger project that will look at all of this in even more depth.
This project has received ethical approval from the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee.
