Vuyu – an innovation to telehealth in the Pilbara

About the project and the involvement opportunity

Opportunity to implement a long term solution for the Pilbara and Western Australia to improve the overall health outcomes of people living in remote communities. Acceptance of the tender submission will result in $100,000 of funding that will afford a 12 month proof of concept.

About the position

This consumer will be needed to urgently review the application and provide their perspective on the proposal and help to develop the consumer and community involvement plan for the project together with the CCI coordinator.

What am I expected to do?

To Assist Vuyu by providing a consumer perspective on the proposed project as well as the implementation of the solution.

What skills or experience do I need?

Ideally expertise within Telehealth although any party involved within Pilbara health is sufficient.

How long am I expected to be involved?

2 hour meeting although if Vuyu progresses to the next stage then further involvement will be required as part of the project consumer reference group.

What support is offered?

$37.50 per hour honorarium. Training and support is offered by the Consumer and Community Involvement Program.
