Are you an adult experiencing change in your gut health? Community Conversation

Are you an adult experiencing change in your gut health? If yes, we want to hear from you at the upcoming Community Conversation.

Getting older is a natural part of life, and it involves various changes in our body processes, including those influenced by gut bacteria. These changes impact our health and contribute to the challenges associated with ageing, which can be a significant economic burden worldwide. Researchers at Murdoch University’s Centre for Computational and Systems Medicine are working to better understand how our bodies interact with gut bacteria as we age. By studying the types of gut bacteria and the processes linked to aging, they aim to learn important information that could help improve healthcare for older people.

The Centre for Computational and Systems Medicine at Murdoch University invites you to join in a community conversation where you can share your personal experiences with gut bacteria and discuss how it influences the ageing journey.

We seek a mix of “Healthy” adults (18+) with and without chronic diseases associated with ageing such as dementia, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, etc. to join us at this Community Conversation.

A $70 honorairum is offered to attendees and light refreshments will be provided on the night.

(*please allow 4 weeks from receiving your payment forms for the honorarium to be deposited into your bank account).
