The menopause transition: experiences in non-office environments – Community Conversation

Have you recently experienced the menopause transition whilst working in a non-office environment?

We are holding a Community Conversation where your experiences will inform the development of a research program to better understand the menopause transition in non-office workplaces  If so, we’d like to invite you to have a chat with us and others who have been through this.

Researchers want to understand:

  • The most bothersome aspects of the menopause transition in a non-office work environment.
  • How employees are treated by employers/colleagues when experiencing symptoms of the menopause transition.
  • What will improve the experiences of the menopause transition in non-office workplaces.

Your stories will inform the development of a (non-medical) research program to better understand such experiences in WA, as well as investigate potential policy and practice interventions that could improve the lives of Western Australians participating in the non-office workforce during the menopause transition.

If you:

Have experienced, or have recently experienced (in thed past 10 years), the menopause transition whilst working in a non-office environment, we encourage you to register your interest!

A $70 honorarium (gift card) is offered to attendees on the night and light refreshments will be provided.

Please regsiter your interest in attending by completing the form below.
