HAVE YOUR SAY ON NATIONAL HEALTH AND HUMAN RESEARCH PLATFORM

Community Perspectives on the National One Stop Shop

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is conducting national consultations to scope the requirements for a national health and human research platform to be called the National One Stop Shop.

The aim of the National One Stop Shop is to make it easier for patients, researchers, industry representatives and sponsors to find, conduct, participate and invest in high quality and ethical research in Australia.

Consumer survey now open

The Commission is exploring options for building awareness of research participation and have launched a consumer survey for people to have their say. People from across the community are encouraged to complete the consumer survey. Your experiences and insights will help inform their understanding of community expectations for research participation

Stakeholders working in the health and human research sector can also provide feedback via the national survey or directly to the Health and Medical Research Team.

The Commission is inviting submissions and participation until 17 December 2021.

Find out more on their web page, or contact the Health and Medical Research team at HMR@safetyandquality.gov.au if you have any questions.
